Balinese

Balinese is how people called bali, it is mention about bali island, balinese art, balinese people, balinese language and balinese mithology. Balinese population is about 3 million, only small percent of total indonesian population. However bali almost well known than indonesia when ask to abbroad people.

The visitor like come to bali not only because of the beautiful nature they have, but also because the hospitality of the balinese people. As an asian people, especially malay people, balinese is welcoming for all visitor that want to visit bali. Balinese like to tell about their nature, their traditional life, their arts and culture to visitors.

The tourism industry has grow into a big industry and has become a main life for native balinese people as their occupation. However balinese are traditionally work on agriculture area such as farming and planting. The nature also well guarding by the village sistem, which break into some "banjar".

Banjar is belong to 50 into 100 families in community of a village. One village can have many Banjar. Each Banjar also has their structure for administration and also for ceremony. Other community structure called as Subak, it is arrange the use of water for irrigation. The Subak has been learned by other province and also other country.

Most balinese is hinduism, although there are small amount of other religion such as Buddha, Islam, Christian and Catholic. The difference is not making any problem in Bali. All religions is living in Harmony with each others.

The language used by balinese are Balinese language, which have some language level based on the respectful. Balinese also speak Indonesian and people who live near tourism area or work for tourism industry quit familiar with foreign language such as English, Japanese, Italian, and so on.
